The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in various bookkeeping tasks. This position is 100% remote! **Responsibilities** * Run full month\-end close for assigned clients and meet deadlines * Prepare monthly financial statements — P\&L, balance sheet, cash flow * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable * Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records * Process payroll and maintain payroll records * Conduct balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations * Use QuickBooks or similar accounting software for bookkeeping tasks * Assist with technical accounting tasks as needed * Clean up and catch up books for new clients * Perform variance analysis and flag anything unusual to the client or CFO team **Requirements** * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role * Proficiency in general ledger accounting * Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation procedures * Accrual accounting experience * Knowledge of payroll processing * Ability to perform bank reconciliations efficiently * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Effective and clear communication skills **Who We're Looking For** * Detail\-oriented and accurate * A team player * Self\-directed and confident running a close on your own * A clear communicator with business owners * Dependable under deadline * Enthusiastic with a great attitude **Sound like you?
