You will be a critical member of the Finance team as you work with various stakeholders to provide complete and accurate reporting of the company's consolidated results in addition to other responsibilities assisting in the Tax and Finance Transformation functions of the team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.The role will report to the Senior Accounting Manager.This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work From Home set-up.If you have the right skill set, this may be your opportunity to enter this fast-growing organization.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare month-end US GAAP consolidated results for booking to our ultimate parent company's ledger systemPerform analysis and reconciliations of financial data, including investigation and commentary on identified reconciling items and/or variancesAct as a key resource for the broader Finance team's internal and external reporting needs, including extracting, reconciling, and presenting data from our OneStream and NetSuite systemsPrepare quarterly financial statements for distribution to landlords and investorsAssist the Senior Tax Analyst with tax compliance in areas such as sales taxes, property taxes, and business license taxes Drive execution of Finance Transformation projects that ensure processes are growing, modernizing, and are fit for purpose in Industrious' fast-paced environment of commercial growth and ambitionsPrepare journal entry postings for month-end close relating to consolidated reporting adjustments, Statutory-to-US GAAP adjustments, and tax transactionsAssist with treasury and cash reporting needsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in accounting or finance rolesProficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (knowledge of NetSuite and / or OneStream is a plus)Strong understanding of accounting principles and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in workAbility to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teamsOriginally posted on Himalayas
