Owning the full account management and cross-sell cycle, collaborating with internal teams, supporting opportunity-generation, technical qualifications and demonstrations. By articulating the Akamai value proposition, you will retain and grow stickiness and enthusiasm for Akamai's solutions.As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:Farming existing accounts. Becoming a trusted advisor, ensuring customers get value out of Akamai's platformsGenerating new business through to contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologiesCreating and managing a high-value sales pipeline and ensuring forecast accuracy, adhering to the MEDDICC sales methodologyPartnering with pre-sales to make recommendations for customers to expand the use of Akamai services and solutionsDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Show proven experience of being persuasive, influential and professional on the phone and emailHave experience in customer facing role, ideally within ITHave experience of meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets, and proven consultative sales skills and quota achievementDemonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholdersShow some experience with accurate forecasting and pipeline managementHave Professional-level fluency in spoken and written English.
