Medical Transcriptionist for Radiology Reports

Our team works cohesively to ensure smooth operations and superior patient care. Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and available Medical Transcriptionist to join our growing team. The right candidate does not need to have a radiology transcription background — but must have a **strong command of medical terminology**, be **available close to full\-time on a daily basis**, and be eager to learn our account and workflow from the ground up. **Experience with radiology transcription is a plus, but not required — we will train the right candidate.** What matters most is your commitment, consistency, and capacity to dedicate yourself to this role. Once fully trained, scheduling flexibility may be available, including optional weekend availability for those interested. Key Responsibilities * Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other medical documents from recorded messages * Review and edit drafts ensuring accuracy of medical terminology and adherence to report format * Utilize foot pedal and macro systems efficiently * Coordinate with medical staff for clarification of any unclear or vague information * Ensure all transcription reports and patient records are kept confidential Must\-Have Qualifications \& Requirements * **Close to full\-time daily availability, Monday through Friday, aligned with Eastern Time (EST) — this is the single most important requirement during the training period** * **Must not be currently employed full\-time and must be able to substantially dedicate to this role** * **Must be able to commit to a near full\-time schedule (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST) during onboarding and training** * **Strong, comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and treatments — required** * **Tech\-savvy and comfortable learning new software platforms quickly** (familiarity with RamSoft, Infinitt, or foot pedal transcription equipment is a plus) * Strong typing speed with exceptional accuracy * Proficient computer skills with a reliable computer and high\-quality headset * Detail\-oriented with strong multitasking ability * Ability to work under tight deadlines Experience * **Medical transcription: 2\+ years (Required)** * **Radiology transcription: experience is a plus, but not required — we will train the right candidate** Schedule \& Flexibility * **Primary schedule: Monday–Friday during training** * Once fully trained, schedule adjustments are available based on performance and account needs * **Weekend availability is optional and welcomed for candidates looking to maximize their hours** Benefits * Work from home * Flexible scheduling post\-training * Weekend hours available for those who want them Job Types: Full\-time, Contract Pay: $3,000\.00 \- $6,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Work from home Application Question(s
