Senior Consultant - Corporate Climate Action

We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Corporate Climate Action to join our Corporate Sustainability Consulting Team. As a rapidly growing service line, you will play a key role in embedding sustainability advisory services to our offerings to international, regional, and local clients.This is a diverse role with many potential opportunities to technically support clients in their sustainability journey. The position will also be closely involved in a leadership role to drive consistency, excellence and continuous improvement in our consultancy services, product development, methodologies, team development and external partnerships.ResponsibilitiesUndertake carbon foot printing, GHG inventory assessments, reporting and develop key tracking metricsDevelop strategies for Carbon Neutrality and guide corporates towards a Net Zero strategyEnsure all climate related disclosures and targets align with external frameworks such as GRI, SBTs, SASB, and TCFDLead annual responses to DJSI, CDP, Sustainalytics, MSCI, and other rating and ranking entitiesStay informed on reporting trends, stakeholder expectations, and emerging rating/ranking entitiesManage and supervise complex consulting mandates in a multi-stakeholder and geographical contextPlan and deliver highest quality projects with close oversight on the entire processPlan and be responsible for key deliverables, deadlines hold internal and external stakeholders accountableImplement new database to collect ESG data, manage dashboards and data visualizationIdentify and proactively look for new business opportunities, develop proposals and client outreachUniversity degree, ideally at a Master’s level or higher, in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Business, or a sustainability related fieldAt least 7 years or more experience in sustainability consulting or related fieldKnowledge in GHG accounting, target setting, climate scenario analysis, corporate sustainability strategy and reporting is required Excellent stakeholder and client management skillsExcellent writing skills and expertise in reviewing proposals and deliverablesExcellent commercial skills to be able to win opportunities in a competitive marketComfortable operating in a fast-paced international multicultural environmentSkilled in using Google Workspaces and MS office applicationsEntrepreneurial mindset and big picture thinkingDecision-making ability based on cost-benefit trade-offsExperience of working in a similar role at a climate change consulting firm is a big plusPlease include a cover letter describing how you might be a good fit for the position and salary expectation.
