You will report directly to our CEO, and you will also carry your own portfolio of accounts so you stay close to the work your team does every day. A fair estimate of your week looks like: * Owning a wide variety of client accounts from simple to complex \- About 60% of the role * Driving team performance through accountability, support, and training \- About 30%\+ of the role * Documenting and continually refining repeatable processes \- About 5%\+ of the role Ideal Candidates will do far more than data entry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Serve as a go\-to resource and mentor for bookkeepers who need help troubleshooting, understanding complex accounting principles, or improving workflow efficiency * Manage, coach, and develop direct report bookkeeping team including monitoring and reporting of KPIs and facilitating accountability and successful results of bookkeepers to continually improve task progress and performance * Track and analyze team workload and capacity, make recommendations to leadership team on bookkeeper assignments and utilization * Make recommendations to the CEO and leadership team on account transitions and coverage, hiring and onboarding/training new bookkeepers, and internal system improvements * Contribute and serve as
