Sr Software Engineer (.NET/C#/ASP.NET MVC)

Senior Software EngineerAt Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on development experience to help design, build, enhance, and support software applications used by internal teams, clients, and partners.In this role, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications and product enhancementsAnalyze business and technical requirements, identifying gaps, ambiguities, and improvement opportunitiesBuild scalable and maintainable applications using established development standards and patternsDevelop and maintain backend database logic, queries, and data structuresWrite clean, concise unit tests with appropriate code coverageParticipate in code reviews and contribute to design discussionsTroubleshoot production issues, isolate root causes, and implement fixesCollaborate closely with product, QA, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentPrepare technical documentation to support development, maintenance, and troubleshooting activitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or any other related field3+ years of software development experienceProven hands-on experience with .NET and C#Strong experience with ASP.NET MVCSolid experience with PostgreSQL and backend database developmentExperience conducting requirements analysisExperience writing unit test casesAbility to work effectively in Agile development environmentsStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsNice to HaveExperience with SQLExposure to CI/CD tools such as Git and JenkinsExperience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or pharmaceutical organizationsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
