If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for ensuring quality through hands-on manual and automated testing, this role could be a perfect fit. You will play a key role in embedding quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.You’ll influence automation initiatives, refine QA processes, and mentor others on best practices. Your primary responsibility will be identifying bugs, verifying fixes, and ensuring a high-quality product experience for our customers.Location:Recently the world has changed so we are changing with it. Responsibilities:Champion quality assurance and lead the adoption of best practices across the product and engineering teamsCollaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to define effective test strategies and acceptance criteriaPlan, design, and execute detailed manual and automated test cases to ensure full coverage of features and user scenariosDrive technical decisions for our software testing processes and toolsBuild, maintain, and help drive the direction of the test automation frameworkMentor test engineers on automation best practicesIdentify, document, and track defects with clear and actionable reportingVerify fixes, maintain comprehensive regression test suites, and drive continuous improvement of QA processesConduct exploratory, usability, and edge-case testing to uncover hidden issuesProduce detailed test reports and effectively communicate findings and risks to stakeholdersHelp define, maintain, and improve test environments to mirror production conditionsContinuously evaluate and enhance QA workflows, tooling (including modern AI tools), and team efficiencyWhy Push?Do what you love! We appreciate what makes each of our team members different and encourage you to apply, no matter who you are or how you identify.Salary Range: $72,000 - $88,000 CAD annuallyRequirements5+ years of experience in software testing or QA, with proven expertise in manual and automated testing and strong analytical skillsExperience designing and implementing QA strategies in agile development environmentsHands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworksBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related fieldDemonstrated success in elevating QA standards and improving product quality across releasesStrong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and testing lifecyclesProficiency in exploratory, regression, and smoke testing techniquesExperience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive UI testingExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsFamiliarity with Jira or other project management
