Project OverviewWe are sourcing independent LaTeX Specialists to provide their expertise for an AI benchmark evaluation project. As AI models increasingly generate complex long-form content that blends mathematical and technical formatting with creative prose, their quality relies entirely on robust, expert-reviewed training data. The objective of this project is to autonomously evaluate, rewrite, and refine AI-generated text to meet specific stylistic guidelines while ensuring flawless LaTeX rendering and proper markdown formatting.Project Deliverables & ScopeOperate autonomously to audit, edit, and refine complex AI outputs. Expected deliverables include: LaTeX & Math Rendering Correction: Identifying and correcting malformed LaTeX expressions, unclosed environments, and inaccurate mathematical notations within text. Stylistic Rewriting & Editing: Rewriting AI-generated text to meet strict stylistic, structural, and creative requirements, ensuring engaging prose, varied sentence structure, and pristine grammar. Markdown Formatting: Fixing broken markdown elements, including unclosed code blocks, inaccurate language tags, headers, and list numbering to ensure flawless structural formatting. Consistent Rubric Application: Applying complex, multi-part evaluation rubrics consistently across high volumes of tasks to generate clean, reliable data for model training. Localization & Standardization: Ensuring all generated text adheres strictly to spelling, grammar, and formatting conventions. Required ExpertiseTo successfully fulfill the deliverables of this project, Contractors must possess strong technical formatting capabilities paired with a sharp editorial eye.Core skillset includes: Familiarity with LaTeX syntax, specifically the ability to accurately spot and correct malformed mathematical expressions and technical notations. Native or near-native English proficiency with a solid grasp of US spelling, grammar, and formatting conventions. A strong background in creative writing, editing, fiction, journalism, copywriting, or similar fields. Hands-on experience with Markdown formatting, including the proper structuring of code blocks, headers, and lists. A meticulous, detail-oriented approach with the ability to confidently navigate and follow multi-part rubrics across high task volumes. We offer a pay range of $8-to-$30 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
