Mechanical Engineer

**Role: Mechanical Engineer****Client: Defense\-Aerospace****Hourly Rate: up to $80/hr (W2, non\-benefited)****Length: 6\-months****Location:** **Remote****Clearance: Due to nature of work performed within the facility, U.S. citizenship is required.** **The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and performing various aspects of design lifecycles and production support, including but not limited to:*** Conceptual and detailed part / assembly design * Trade studies * Engineering drawings / technical data package creation * Developmental / prototype builds * Engineering support during fabrication and build of production hardware **Required Skills:*** 4 to 6 years of professional experience in mechanical design or engineering. * Advanced proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD). * Extensive experience developing and managing 3D Models. * Expert\-level use of CREO Parametric software. * Proficient with EPDM Windchill for data management and version control. * Proven ability to create and finalize production\-ready 3D Models. * Strong ability to accurately interpret and work from Engineering Drawings. * Comprehensive understanding and application of GD\&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards. **Required Education and Experience:** Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering If interested in learning more about this position, please email your resume to KDunkin@geologics.com and I will call back with more information.
