Tax Accountant/Bookkeeper

CPA office in Tempe is seeking an accountant/tax preparer. This position will be in\-person, not remote. Our work environment is professional, yet friendly and comfortable. We offer competitive wages, flexible work environment, retirement plan participation, health insurance and the potential to grow within the company. **Qualifications** · Two years or more of public accounting, preferred · Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or similar field · Excellent customer service skills (external and internal) and attention to detail · Creative problem solving and research skills · Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently · Motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development · Ability to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects · Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining quality work · Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office programs, Adobe and Cloud based applications · **Key Responsibilities** · Prepare and review income tax preparation for Individuals, Corporations, Partnerships, and Trusts/Estates · Full and partial service bookkeeping using QuickBooks, and/or Excel. · Manage full\-charge bookkeeping and month\-end for multiple client accounts · Prepare Payroll and Sales Returns/Reports · Analyze financial reports for discrepancies or unusual activity Benefits: * Health insurance Work Location: In person
