Security Engineer

Role Responsibilities (Technical): Manage, configure and upgrade a wide variety of security technologies (please see below for the security products) Respond to managed security technologies fault alerts and/or customer escalation Troubleshoot product-specific technical issues within SLA and work with internal teams/external vendors to resolve technical issues Perform incident/problem escalation within SLA to internal technical teams or external product vendor Prepare and submit Incident Reports on high severity incidents Respond to inbound Change Requests (CRs), Service Requests (SRs) or other queries within SLA. Perform regular configuration backups on managed security products Plan and coordinate Maintenance Windows with customer on necessary software patching and version upgrades. Create and update technical documentations on managed security technologies Generate monthly reports according to service scope requirements Adhere to organization and project security policies, procedures and security best practicesRole Responsibilities (Non-Technical): Point of contact to assist and advise client for any ICT security related Lead and support customer in the matter of security incident response and resolution Team player with good leadership qualities Customer-focused with good interpersonal skillsTechnical Skills & Expertise: Profession certification and/or practical working expertise on some/most the below security technologies: o RSA / SafeNet (2FA)o RSA Netwitnesso Cisco ASA / CheckPoint /Fortinet / Palo Alto / SonicWall / AlgoSec Mgt (Firewall))o Trend Micro / McAfee (NIPS / HIDS / NSM)o CyberArk / BeyondTrust (PAM)o Symantec BlueCoat / McAfee Web Gatewayo Imperva (DAM / CounterBreach)o Tripwire Enterpriseo Rapid 7 Scanner managemento Banff Cybero F5 WAFo McAfee NDLP Candidate to indicate his/her certification status and number of years of experience on the above list of technologies in his/her application.Preferred: Bachelors degree / Polytechnic Diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science/ Information Technology or Information System At least min 5 years working experience in IT Infrastructure Operation and/or Support.
