This position is pivotal in driving the execution of the strategic plan within the region, ensuring excellence and integrity in workforce development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Workforce Development, encompassing core programs, business strategies, and the broader operational landscape. As a key member of the Corporate Management Team, the Regional Director will champion performance, inspire innovation, and uphold accountability across all areas. Ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations including financial, internal quality outcomes, external quality outcomes and customer relationships;Oversees the development of the annual operating and capital budgets for each location and ensures expenses comply with budget constraints and revenue meets or exceeds budgeted goals;Develops and maintains contact with current funding sources, potential funding sources and, if applicable, local and state legislators and political leaders;Ensures locations are compliant with client/funding source and regulatory requirements, Company and Corporate policies and procedures;Ensures the provision of quality service consistent with applicable laws/regulations and corporate policies/guidelines/standards. Oversees and participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities;Supervisor of local Executive Directors;Responsible for market growth in assigned region;Approves bid/contract development and submission, as necessary;Ensures implementation of corporate initiatives and directives;Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset;Other duties and projects as needed.Ideal Qualifications for this Role Include:Bachelor Degree;A minimum of five years experience with the proven ability to effectively manage systems, processes, and people;Experience in Workforce Development preferred;Five plus years of supervisory experience;Demonstrates the experience or ability for strategic development and management at an executive level;The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient maintain a high-level of confidentiality;Knowledge about the local region and relevant partners (preferred);The capability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, including the ability to perform and complete a high volume of work assignments with speed and accuracy, work cooperatively with others and showing courteousness and a high level of professionalism;The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, handle personnel matters effectively, and handle employee and personnel inquiries with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy;Able to travel locally and within the assigned region;Travel: Up to 50% regional travel is expected.Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 and a 20% annual incentiveAbout Career TEAM: Founded in 1996, Career TEAM, LLC is a private workforce development organization.Career TEAM’s outstanding record of accelerating the human condition has resulted in numerous honors:Named by Inc.
