RFP Writer

**Job description:** Responsibilities: Niki Jones Agency, Inc. seeks a writer to research, write, and edit RFPs and proposals. This is a part\-time position that requires previous experience reading and responding to public bids, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. Key responsibilities for this position include: \- Using databases to research and identify procurement opportunities \- Reading, analyzing, and notating RFIs, RFQs, and RFP documents \- Creating and proposing budgets for services outlined in sales proposal \- Writing, formatting, and editing persuasive sales proposals in accordance with guidelines established by the procurement document \- Setting and maintaining deadlines \- Coordinating provision of associated deliverables with different department members \- Communicating with procurement officers Qualifications: \- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field. \- Proven experience in sales writing, creative writing, journalism, or a similar role. \- Have experience working in public relations and marketing \- Strong research skills and ability to gather and verify information from reliable sources \- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs). \- Familiarity with different writing styles and ability to adapt to specific style guidelines. \- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. \- Be a strategic technical writer with demonstrated success organizing ideas \- Experience in copywriting or content marketing is a plus. \- Enjoy working with other people and communicating regularly We offer competitive compensation based on experience and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
