Job Description
**Part \-time** remote position for:
* Establishing different accounts in QuickBooks
* Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
* Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
* Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts in QuickBooks
* Maintaining a balanced general ledger
* Monthly closings and statements
* Preparing a trial balance for the accountants
* Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information
* Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements
* Assisting in financial activities such as running payroll and generating invoices
* Maintaining payroll information by collating timesheets, calculating and entering time data in APD
* Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
* Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non\-taxable wages
* Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
* Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
* Processing and issuing W\-2 forms and 1099’s
Qualifications
Must have 3\-4 years of working Knowledge of APD and QuickBooks software.
Must have 3\-4 years of payroll experience working with ADP.
Must have 3\-4 years of QuickBooks experience.
Must possess the ability to analyze transactions.
Education
High School Diploma
