Job SummaryAretum is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Test / QA Engineer. As a Test / QA Engineer, you will validate system functionality, data accuracy, and integration performance.Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute test plans across system componentsValidate data pipelines and risk scoring outputsTest APIs and integrationsSupport UAT with stakeholdersAutomate regression testing where feasibleRequirementsTesting Types: Functional, integration, regression, UAT supportAPI Testing: Postman, REST clients, automated API validationData Validation: SQL queries, dataset comparison, reconciliation checksTest Automation: Basic scripting (Python/JavaScript), test frameworksDefect Tracking: Jira or similar toolsTest Case Design: Requirements traceability, edge case identificationPerformance Testing (Basic): Load testing concepts, response validationCI/CD Integration: Running tests in pipelinesDocumentation: Test plans, test cases, defect reportsBasic Understanding of Healthcare Data: Enough to validate outputs logicallyCollaboration: Working with engineers to isolate and reproduce issuesTravel RequirementsThis is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
