Senior DevOps Engineer

CloudBlue enables partners to monetize and manage cloud services and subscriptions at scale, combining the agility of a high-growth business with the backing of a global organization.As the DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and operate CloudBlue’s cloud infrastructure and delivery platforms, with a strong focus on platform engineering, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and scalability. You will work closely with SRE, Platform, and Product Engineering teams to ensure services are secure, reliable, and continuously deliverable across both R&D and production environmentsWhat you’ll do:Design, evolve, and operate scalable and elastic cloud architectures for multi tenant SaaS platformsContinuously challenge and improve existing infrastructure and architectural decisions to remove performance, scalability, and operability bottlenecksDesign and maintain cloud native and hybrid solutions, integrating cloud platforms with on prem systems when requiredBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, safe, and repeatable deploymentsPromote and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using TerraformAutomate provisioning, configuration, scaling, and recovery to reduce manual operational effortImprove deployment strategies in collaboration with SRE teams to increase reliability and predictabilityDesign and operate containerized platforms using Docker and KubernetesSupport and evolve microservices architectures, ensuring deployment safety, isolation, and scalabilityOperate and support production and pre-production environments and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issuesParticipate in incident response and on call rotations when required, working with SREs to reduce operational toilMaintain clear and up to date documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and operational proceduresPartner closely with engineering teams to improve developer experience, delivery velocity, and platform reliabilitySupport other tasks or projects as assigned to meet team and business needsAbout you:3 or more years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Senior Software Engineer with infrastructure ownershipStrong hands on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, with AWS or GCP also acceptableProven experience with Kubernetes, preferably AKS, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD systems such as Jenkins and Groovy pipelines, Linux based systems, and configuration management tools like AnsibleStrong scripting and automation skills using Python and or BashSolid understanding of distributed systems and cloud networking fundamentalsComfortable working with Git based workflows such as BitbucketExcellent written and spoken communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with distributed teamsExperience operating or supporting multi tenant SaaS platforms is a plusPrevious collaboration with SRE teams and exposure to reliability practices would be beneficialFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Datadog, or ELK would be helpfulHands on exposure to hybrid cloud environments or on-prem integrations would be considered an advantageA software engineering background with experience owning systems end to end would be positively valuedWhat we offer:Work from anywhere - this is a remote opportunity, with a primary hiring focus on candidates located within the European Union, in line with team needs and operational coverageA competitive salary that values you and your unique skill setsCareer advancement & professional development opportunities to help you reach your full potentialFlexible work arrangements to support work/life balanceAbout us:At HostPapa, we’ve been committed to providing a complete array of enterprise-grade cloud services solutions to every business owner since 2006.
