We’re looking for passionate individuals who want to be part of a dynamic, people-first company that prioritizes superior service and strong community connections.Maintenance CoordinatorAbout the RoleHazel Valley Homes is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance operations across a growing portfolio of single-family rental homes.This role serves as a central point of coordination between residents, vendors, and internal teams to ensure maintenance requests are handled quickly, efficiently, and with a high level of customer service. You'll play a critical role in driving resident satisfaction, managing repair workflows, coordinating vendors, and ensuring service requests are resolved in accordance with company standards.The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.What You'll OwnMaintenance Operations & Work Order ManagementTriage incoming maintenance requests and assess severity, urgency, and next stepsManage work orders from initial intake through final resolutionEnsure service requests are assigned, tracked, and completed within established service level expectationsMonitor maintenance workflows and proactively identify delays or potential issuesResident ExperienceServe as a primary point of contact for residents regarding maintenance-related concernsProvide timely updates and clear communication throughout the repair processDeliver a high level of customer service while managing resident expectationsPartner with internal teams to ensure a positive resident experienceVendor Coordination & DispatchSource, schedule, and dispatch vendors to complete maintenance and repair workCoordinate appointments and ensure vendors meet company standards for quality, responsiveness, and complianceFollow up on outstanding work orders and verify completion of repairsBuild strong working relationships with maintenance vendors and service providersCost Management & ComplianceObtain bids and negotiate pricing for larger repairs and recurring projectsSupport cost-control efforts by identifying efficient repair solutionsEnsure maintenance work complies with municipal requirements, HOA regulations, safety standards, and Fair Housing guidelinesMaintain accurate documentation related to repairs, vendor activity, and project outcomesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Property Management, Resident Services, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues efficientlyEscalate complex maintenance concerns and operational risks as appropriateSupport process improvements that enhance service quality, response times, and operational efficiencyWhat Makes Someone Successful HereYou are highly organized and can effectively manage multiple priorities at onceYou communicate clearly and professionally with residents, vendors, and internal stakeholdersYou enjoy solving problems and finding practical solutions quicklyYou thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environmentYou take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolutionYou understand the importance of balancing resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and cost managementQualificationsRequired2+ years of experience in property management, maintenance coordination, vendor management, or a related fieldExperience supporting maintenance operations within residential real estate, preferably single-family rentalsFamiliarity with maintenance-related products, services, and repair processesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple work orders, vendors, and priorities simultaneouslyFlexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations as neededPreferredBachelor's degreeExperience working within high-volume property management or maintenance operationsExperience utilizing maintenance management or property management software platformsFamiliarity with vendor compliance requirements and service-level managementWhy Join Hazel Valley HomesOpportunity to make a direct impact on resident satisfaction and portfolio performanceExposure to a growing
