Job Description
Key skill sets:Expertise with the Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform administration
Deploying application through Container orchestration technologies using Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform
Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring, SSL certificates deployment, configuring ingress controllers, integrating with load balancers, integrating with identity management tools, etc.)
Configuring/administering monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, similar tools)
Logging Tools (ELK Stack, Dynatrace, similar tools) administration
Good knowledge of management of containers and container images through hands-on experience, along with deploying and troubleshooting containerized applications.
Knowledge of containers including the ability to find, customize, run, and manage containerized services in both stand-alone environments, and environments with Red Hat Open Shift.
Review the installation of clusters, including configuration and day-to-day management
Ability to create, configure, and manage a cloud application platform using Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform
Essential skills for installing an Open Shift cluster in a range of environments, from proof of concept to production, and how to identify customizations that may be required because of the underlying cloud, virtual, or physical infrastructure.
Skills required to manage Open Shift clusters at scale to productively support a growing number of stakeholders, applications, and users
Troubleshoot application deployments issues.
Control access to projects using role-based access control (RBAC)
Expose applications to clients external to the cluster using TLS encryption
Configure network isolation between services and applications using network policies
Configure application scheduling using labels and selectors
Limit compute resource usage of applications with resource limits and quotas
Install Kubernetes Operators with the Web Console
Deploy and configure resources with the OC commands
Deploying multi-container applications.
Query and visualize cluster-wide logs, metrics, and alerts.
Excellent knowledge in Red Hat Linux/Unix administration
