Chegg is the leading student-first connected learning platform and a NYSE listed company.What does a Freelance Online Teacher do at Busuuu?As a Freelance Online Language Teacher at Busuu, you’ll play a key role in helping students learn effectively and confidently. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will likely include:- Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each)for corporate clients.- 1:1 Lessons:Deliver private lessons that include both language teaching andpersonalised coaching- conducting needs analyses, assessing levels, creating bespoke learning paths, checking progress during lesson time, and setting clear goals.- Group Lessons: (up to 5 people in EN, ES, FR, DE, IT, NL)Teach online group classes that focus on active learning and communication.What we’re looking for in a Freelance Online English Teacher:C2 Level of teaching languageValid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degreesExperience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning supportFluency in additional languages:B1 or above in English if your teaching language is not EnglishB1 or above in another language if English is your teaching languageBonus:Speaking more than two languagesComfortable teaching: presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc.Excellent communication skills to engage and teach studentsHigh-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and cameraMust comply with local freelance/contractor regulationsWhat are the terms of this freelance role?Paid per lesson taughtRemote positionFreedom to set your own scheduleAccess to Busuu Premium, to continue your own language learningOpportunity to interact with and teach students from around the worldValuable teaching experience with one of the industry’s leading companiesWhat happens next?IMPORTANT - This is an open application to register your interest in Busuu for any language and in the case that language specific positions become available, we will reach out directly based on your application.
