Want to be part of it?Purpose of the roleAs a Senior PPC Specialist, you will take ownership of a portfolio of high-value customers, leading the build, execution and ongoing management of PPC strategies that deliver measurable results. Beyond day-to-day campaign management, you will play a visible leadership role within the PPC team, acting as a mentor and raising the standard of work across the function. We are looking for someone who brings genuine enthusiasm for paid search and can translate that into compelling conversations with both clients and colleagues. The winning candidate will be a trusted strategic partner to their clients, capable of operating with autonomy, navigating complexity, and driving performance at scale.Role & ResponsibilitiesLead the build, execution and ongoing optimisation of PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads for a portfolio of high-value customersOwn the strategic direction of your clients' PPC activity, developing and evolving data-led strategies that deliver against agreed performance targetsServe as the primary point of contact for the portfolio of your customers, building deep, trusted relationships at senior stakeholder levelLead client status calls, monthly business reviews and quarterly business reviews, presenting campaign performance, strategic recommendations and forward-looking plans with confidence and authorityAct as a mentor and go-to resource for PPC Specialists within the team, supporting their development and reviewing their work to maintain quality standardsContribute to the development of internal best practices, playbooks and processes that elevate the performance of the wider PPC functionTake a lead role in new business pitches, articulating PPC strategy and capability to prospective clients at a senior levelIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across your client portfolio, contributing directly to department revenue growth targetsCollaborate closely with GTM and other marketing services teams to drive retention and identify expansion opportunities within existing accountsChampion innovation within the team, evaluating emerging platforms, tools and approaches and bringing forward recommendations with a clear commercial rationaleStay ahead of industry trends and algorithm changes, translating that knowledge into actionable insight for clients and colleaguesProactively identify and develop case study material in partnership with the brand marketing and communications teamSupport line management in embedding strategic objectives across the PPC team, helping to translate business priorities into day-to-day ways of workingFacilitate & embed any strategic objective(s) that may be requested by line management or directors of the businessSkills / Knowledge & Experience5+ years' experience in a PPC role, with demonstrable experience managing large, complex or high-spend accounts across Google Ads and Microsoft AdsProven track record of delivering measurable, results-driven PPC campaigns at scale, with the ability to evidence performance improvements and commercial impactAdvanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends and translate insight into clear strategic recommendationsExperience working with GA4 and an understanding of attribution modelling across paid channelsDeep knowledge of the broader digital marketing landscape including SEO, paid social and programmatic, with an understanding of how PPC sits within an integrated strategyExperience managing or mentoring junior team members, with a genuine interest in developing othersStrong proficiency with Google Analytics and wider measurement and attribution tools, with the ability to build and interpret performance reporting at a senior levelComfortable owning and presenting strategy to senior client stakeholders and internal leadership, using data to build a compelling and persuasive narrativeExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite or senior decision makersHighly organised and self-directed, capable of managing a complex portfolio of high-value accounts with minimal oversightExperience contributing to or leading new business pitches, with the confidence to represent the business externallyWhy join us?We’re on a journey to become market leaders in our space – and with that comes some incredible opportunities.
