As an organisation, we foster creativity, continuous learning and inclusivity, creating an environment where bold ideas thrive and make a measurable difference in people’s lives. **Your Mission** We are looking for a Senior AgentCore Platform Engineer to design and build the agent\-facing layer of an enterprise AI platform on AWS: the runtime patterns, memory strategies, orchestration and multi\-agent handoff patterns, and the reference implementations that other engineering teams copy to build their own agents. The engineer will establish standardised, production\-ready approaches for building, deploying, evaluating and operating AI agents on AWS, leveraging Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and related AWS services. Production experience with AgentCore itself is not required — strong AWS fundamentals plus hands\-on experience with an equivalent agent platform or framework is what matters. **What You’ll Do** **Agent Runtime \& Reference Architectures** * Design and build the reference agent architectures on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime (or equivalent): single agent, supervisor/worker, router and handoff patterns, with streaming and human\-in\-the\-loop where needed. * Build reusable components for agent deployment, execution, session management and lifecycle management. * Work closely with the cloud platform engineers to integrate agent runtimes with the foundational AWS infrastructure. **Agent Orchestration \& Multi\-Agent Systems** * Implement orchestration in LangGraph, Strands Agents or an equivalent framework: state design, error handling, retries, timeouts and cancellation. * Implement agent\-to\-agent communication, context transfer and handoff mechanisms; develop patterns for sequential, parallel and event\-driven agent workflows. * Establish recovery mechanisms for long\-running agent processes. **Agent Memory \& Context Management** * Define the platform’s memory strategy: short\-term session memory, long\-term memory strategies in AgentCore Memory (or equivalent), what is stored, retention, and sharing across agents. * Develop approaches for session persistence, context sharing, memory retrieval, and a
