NodeJS Developer – Initial 6–12 Month Contract (Potential to Extend)Start Date: January 2026 Location: Fully remote with occasional workshops (every 6 weeks) in London, Manchester, Newcastle, or LeedsAbout the OpportunityWe’re looking for experienced NodeJS Developers to join a major government project starting in January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact services in an agile environment, contributing to innovative solutions that make a real difference.The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person workshops to collaborate and align with the wider team.What You’ll Be Doing:Develop and maintain secure, scalable applications using NodeJS.Build APIs and backend services using frameworks such as Express or NextJS.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Implement unit testing and follow TDD principles.Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.Tech Stack You’ll Be Using:Languages: NodeJSFrameworks & Tools: Express, NextJSVersion Control: GitCI/CD: GitLab CI or similar toolsCloud: AWS (beneficial)RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For:Experienced in software development.
