Come build the future of pharmacy with us.Job Posting TitleParalegal Sr (LIcensing) - RemoteJob DescriptionThe Paralegal Senior (Licensing) is responsible for managing one or more specified business or legal functions and is responsible for collaborating with attorneys, other paralegals, and other Prime professionals to provide complex legal support and assistance.ResponsibilitiesCreate, prepare, review, proof, edit and manage highly complex documents, including contracts, corporate records, correspondence, reports, and presentationsResearch and analyze highly complex issues in a wide variety of subject areas of health care law affecting Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) companies, customers and pharmacies; find resolution for escalated issuesNegotiate with customers, external vendors, outside/opposing counsel and government agencies to address and resolve legal issuesIdentify, establish, and maintain relationships with key internal business partners and serve as the liaison between legal department and assigned business areaRepresent Prime's legal department to internal and/or external groups on projects or contracts by leading or participating in various meetingsResearch and respond to regulatory inquiriesProvide guidance by training, coaching, or mentoring other paraprofessionals and/or other staffOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Paralegal Studies or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED requiredParalegal certificate5 years of relevant work experienceMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional QualificationsExtremely strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain appropriate prioritization and productivity while working under deadlinesDemonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize and manage complex informationProven problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to influence Prime staff on legal and business issuesAdvanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AccessPreferred Qualifications7 years experience as a Paralegal for a PBM, healthcare company or law firm advising a healthcare companyEvery employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and proceduresEvery employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions, absent undue hardship.
