You’ll collaborate with Global & Regional E-Commerce, Digital Product, Brand Creative, and UX Research teams to elevate brand aesthetics and usability. We believe that when we bring our different perspectives to work, we are truly Better Together.Your ImpactMap and visualize user journeys across all phases and channels (Discovery, Exploration, Consideration, Purchase, Post Purchase & Loyalty Engagement)Translate consumer journey maps into full fidelity wireframes for front end developmentFacilitate alignment between global UX strategy and regional execution prioritiesCollaborate with developers, design teams, photographers, and copywriters from concept to completion on digital productsInfluence global and regional digital product roadmaps with thoughtful UX strategy and design proposalsPartner with Global Brand Marketing teams to translate creative for digital engagementMaintain and evolve Brand Design System in Figma, including component creation and global documentation standardsPropose and design A/B tests with UX ResearchStay updated on UX and digital design trends to inform product roadmapProvide quality assurance on all creative deliverablesDeliver clean, annotative designs and prototypes for developer handoffSupport Deckers digital growth strategy through special projects and emerging technologiesWho You AreExtensive experience designing in digital tools, with proficiency in Figma (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch)Comfortable working in project management systems (Aha!, JIRA, Asana, Airtable, Workfront)Exemplary communication skills across virtual working tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Figma)Strong aptitude for presenting brand creative and translating visual content into engagement with a mobile-first mindsetExposure to UX research tools and ability to translate insights into design proposalsFamiliarity with direct-to-consumer, omni-channel user experience needsAbility to document journey maps and technical usability guidesSkilled in crafting clear, user-friendly copy that aligns with brand voice and enhances usabilityUnderstanding of marketing strategy and how elegant UX supports key campaignsThorough understanding and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-based applicationsKnowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and ability to apply them in design decisionsHighly driven and naturally curious, passionate about continuous learning and new methodologiesStrong empathy and ability to anticipate user needs, ensuring intuitive design solutionsApproachable communicator with stakeholders across the businessAble to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordinglySkilled in communicating concepts through prototypes, storyboards, information architecture, and wireframesProcess-oriented and able to develop and follow project schedulesDeep expertise in UX principles, committed to staying up to date on technologies and best practicesStrong understanding of data-driven, user-centric, interaction design, and usabilityExperience in retail/fashion/beauty industry is a plusExperience with Agile/Scrum methodology and project management software is a plusDegree or certification in UX or Digital Design (Masters preferred)5+ years of experience across UX design, Digital Design, UX Research, Brand Design, with front-end user-facing commercial projectsWhat We'll Give You – Competitive Pay and Bonuses - We’ve created a variety of competitive compensation programs to foster career development, reward success and to show our employees just how much they’re valued.Financial Planning and wellbeing - No matter what financial goals our employees have set, we want to help them get there.
