We specialize in embedded systems, engineering software, and digital engineering services, enabling enterprises to accelerate innovation and achieve scalable growth. **Role Overview** We are looking for a high\-impact **Business Development Manager** to drive growth in the **US automotive market**. This role is focused on **hunting, deal closure, and revenue expansion** across OEMs, Tier\-1 suppliers, and automotive technology companies. You will play a critical role in expanding InOptra’s footprint by selling **IT, embedded systems, and engineering software services**, while building long\-term strategic client relationships. **Key Responsibilities Business Growth \& Hunting** * Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the US automotive ecosystem * Drive proactive outreach through LinkedIn, email campaigns, referrals, and industry networks * Build and maintain a high\-quality sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets **Sales Execution** * Own the **end\-to\-end sales cycle**: lead generation → RFP → proposal → negotiation → closure * Consistently close high\-value deals aligned with embedded, AUTOSAR, and automotive software services * Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets (multi\-million USD portfolio ownership) **Client Engagement** * Establish and grow relationships with **OEMs, Tier\-1 suppliers, and automotive tech companies** * Engage with senior stakeholders (VPs, CXOs) to position value\-driven solutions * Represent InOptra at industry events such as CES, SAE, and automotive conferences **Solutioning \& Collaboration** * Work closely with technical and delivery teams to create tailored proposals, demos, and POCs * Align client requirements with InOptra’s capabilities in embedded systems, engineering software, and digital transformation **Sales Operations** * Track pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow) * Provide regular updates and strategic insights to leadership **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) * 8\+ years of experience in **business development / sales within IT, embedded, or engineering services** * Minimum 5 years of experience selling into the **US automotive market** * Proven success in: * Closing deals of **$500K\+** * Managing **$2M\+ annual revenue targets** * Strong understanding of automotive technologies: * Embedded systems * ADAS / EV software * AUTOSAR (prefer
