If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a P&C Insurance Business Analyst to join our team in Anywhere, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).Role OverviewWe are seeking experienced Senior Consultants with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance knowledge and advanced Business Analysis skills. The role will support transformation programs, product launches, process optimization, and technology initiatives across underwriting, policy, billing, and claims domains.The ideal candidate combines deep industry expertise with hands‑on BA capabilities — including process modeling, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities1. Business Analysis & Requirements CaptureLead end‑to‑end business requirements gathering sessions with SMEs and stakeholders.Translate business needs into clear and structured requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria).Document target-state business processes, rules, and workflows across P&C functional areas.Ensure requirements are complete, testable, traceable, and aligned to strategic program objectives.2. Process Modeling & OptimizationCreate detailed as‑is and to‑be process flows using industry-standard modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN).Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for operational improvement.Support design and implementation of streamlined business processes across underwriting, policy servicing, billing, and claims.3. Industry Expertise – P&C InsuranceApply deep knowledge of P&C insurance operations, terminology, lifecycle, products, and regulatory considerations.Work with underwriting, claims, actuarial, operations, and technology teams to validate requirements.Support configuration or solutioning activities for policy, billing, and claims platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, or other core systems — if applicable).4. Stakeholder Management & CommunicationFacilitate workshops, interviews, working sessions, and decision-making meetings.Communicate requirements and process insights clearly to business and technical audiences.Maintain strong relationships with client SMEs, product owners, and delivery teams.5. Delivery SupportAssist in backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT preparation, and defect triage.Ensure solutions delivered meet documented business requirements.Contribute to project governance reporting, status updates, and risk/issue tracking.Qualifications & ExperienceRequiredStrong experience (6–10+ years) working in P&C insurance (underwriting, policy admin, billing, claims, or distribution).Proven Business Analyst skills:Requirements elicitation and documentationProcess mapping (BPMN or equivalent)Gap analysis and business rules definitionExperience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.Ability to translate complex business concepts into clear technical requirements.PreferredExperience with P&C core systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, etc.).Familiarity with data flows, integrations, and insurance operational metrics.Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, CPCU, AINS (nice to have).Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to lead workshops and engage stakeholders effectivelyDetail‑oriented with strong documentation disciplineAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
