Job (Project) Description:This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Support Engineer / Backend Engineer to join a collaborative team supporting a mission-critical enterprise cybersecurity platform. Working within the Invicti ASPM (Application Security Posture Management) platform, you will focus on sustaining engineering activities, ensuring platform stability, resolving production issues, delivering maintenance updates, and supporting customers throughout the platform lifecycle.As part of a long-term support engagement, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Support, and SRE teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues, improve system reliability, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native services. This contract position is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys debugging, problem-solving, customer-facing technical challenges, and maintaining enterprise software in production environments.Location:BrazilColombiaArgentinaMexicoPeruUruguayRequirements:5+ years of backend software engineering experience;Strong experience developing with Go;Experience with Python and FastAPI;Experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting microservices architectures;Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments;Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations;Experience working with databases such as MongoDB and Redis;Familiarity with messaging systems such as NATS;Experience troubleshooting production incidents and customer-reported issues;Strong debugging, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills;Experience supporting enterprise software platforms;Familiarity with secure software development practices;Good English communication skills;Experience working directly with customer escalations is highly desirable.Additional technical requirements include:Experience working with Linux environments;Knowledge of cloud-native application architectures;Experience with dependency management, compatibility updates, and security patches;Exposure to frontend technologies such as TypeScript and Vue 3;Experience working with web infrastructure tools such as Nginx.Job Responsibilities:Provide long-term engineering support for the legacy Invicti ASPM platform;Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer-reported production issues and technical escalations;Develop and deliver bug fixes, hotfixes, maintenance releases, and security updates;Support cloud-native microservices running in containerized environments;Maintain and improve existing platform components and integrations;Perform dependency updates, compatibility improvements, and security-related enhancements;Assist customers with deployments, upgrades, and configuration activities;Collaborate with Invicti Engineering, Product, Support, and SRE teams to ensure platform reliability;Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous product stability improvements;Follow secure development practices, release management processes, and quality standards;Perform debugging and troubleshooting across production environments;Support defect resolution and platform maintenance activities;Contribute to technical documentation, operational improvements, and knowledge sharing;Continuously improve engineering practices focused on reliability, security, and customer experience.Main Technologies:Programming LanguagesGoPythonTypeScriptBackend & FrameworksFastAPIREST APIsMicroservices ArchitectureDatabases & MessagingMongoDBRedisNATSPlatform & InfrastructureDockerLinuxNginxContainerized EnvironmentsFront-End TechnologiesVue 3TypeScriptAdditional Comments:This is a Sustaining Engineering / Long-Term Support engagement focused on maintaining and supporting the legacy Invicti ASPM platform until its planned End of Life.The engineer will primarily work on production support, troubleshooting, maintenance releases, security updates, customer escalations, and platform stability improvements, rather than greenfield feature development.
