Capital Markets / Syndication Associate – Equipment FinanceAltius Search Group is recruiting for a client seeking a Capital Markets / Syndication Associate to join a growing equipment finance platform.This role is focused on placing debt with existing funding sources and supporting the sale of equipment finance transactions to financial institutions. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with capital markets experience who wants to join a growing company, take ownership, and grow into a larger leadership role over time.The current scope of the position is straightforward and execution-oriented, as the company works with strong credit profiles that are highly attractive to financial institutions. As origination volume continues to increase, the role is expected to grow in responsibility and become a more strategic part of the organization’s long-term capital markets function.Key ResponsibilitiesPlace equipment finance transactions with existing funding partnersDevelop and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other capital providersCoordinate with internal leadership on transaction flow and placement executionHelp identify the best funding sources based on transaction quality and market appetiteSupport the expansion of the company’s capital partner network as volume growsTrack funding trends and market demand within equipment financeAssist in building a broader capital markets and syndication function over timeRequirementsQualifications2+ years of experience in capital markets, syndication, banking, equipment finance, structured finance, or a related fieldBuy-side or sell-side capital markets experience is acceptableUnderstanding of debt placement and institutional funding relationshipsStrong communication and relationship management skillsComfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environmentEquipment finance experience is a plusIdeal BackgroundBackground with a bank, financial institution, or similar platformEarly-career to mid-level professional looking for growth potentialInterested in joining a company where they can stand out and help build the functionMotivated by the opportunity to grow into a Capital Markets Manager or Director-level role over timeCompensationBase salary plus incentive opportunityGrowth-oriented role with increasing upside as the business scalesThis is a strong opportunity to join a growing equipment finance platform with attractive credits, strong marketability, and meaningful long-term upside.Originally posted on Himalayas
