Job Title: Tech Lead – Salesforce Commerce Cloud Primary Location: Remote (U.S.-based; preference for TX or CA) Position Type: 12-Month ContractOverviewTalentFish is casting a line for a Tech Lead – Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This is a 12-month contract role in a remote U.S. location.This position exists to provide hands-on technical leadership within a large-scale digital commerce transformation for a pharmaceutical client. The Tech Lead will support the implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), contributing to the decoupling of the commerce environment and enabling a modern order management ecosystem integrated with SAP and OMS platforms. This role will partner closely with Solution and Technical Architects while leading day-to-day development activities across the commerce platform.What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) developmentExperience supporting B2B and B2C commerce implementations, including storefront developmentSolid understanding of headless/decoupled commerce architecturesExperience working with integrations to SAP and OMS platformsProficiency in SFCC development tools and frameworks (ISML, controllers, pipelines, OCAPI, SCAPI)Experience leading small to mid-sized development teams, including offshore resourcesStrong understanding of order capture, checkout flows, and commerce operationsFamiliarity with customer engagement, loyalty, and personalization featuresAbility to translate technical designs into actionable development tasksStrong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex environmentsExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a client-facing team environmentMust be located in the U.S. and available for key meetings as neededWhat You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)Lead day-to-day development activities for Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementationsCollaborate with architects to implement scalable and high-performing commerce solutionsSupport the build of B2B and B2C storefronts, ensuring high-quality user experiencesContribute to the decoupling of the commerce platform, supporting headless architecture initiativesDevelop and support integrations with SAP and OMS systems for order capture and fulfillmentProvide technical guidance and mentorship to onshore and offshore development teamsParticipate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standardsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues and production defectsAssist with release planning, deployments, and environment managementWork closely with cross-functional teams to support customer engagement and loyalty featuresAct as a bridge between architecture and development teams, ensuring smooth executionCompensation InformationThe expected pay range for this position is [$70 - $95 per hour], depending on experience and qualifications.
