Whether you're experienced in public accounting or looking to expand your tax preparation skills, this position empowers you to make a meaningful impact while growing professionally in a fast\-paced environment. **Duties** * Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns using advanced tax preparation software and accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other financial software. * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws by staying current on updates and regulations affecting tax reporting. * Analyze financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and other relevant records to accurately report taxable income and deductions. * Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documents, clarify financial details, and explain tax positions clearly and professionally. * Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their financial outcomes while ensuring adherence to all legal requirements. * Conduct thorough review of all submitted documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before filing. * Support client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and providing exceptional customer service that builds trust and long\-term relationships. **Skills** * Strong knowledge of tax law, tax compliance procedures, and experience preparing various types of tax returns including individual and corporate taxes. * Proficiency with tax preparation software such as TurboTax, Drake Tax, or similar platforms; familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks and Sage is highly desirable. * Excellent analysis skills for interpreting financial data and applying relevant tax concepts accurately. * Demonstrated experience in public accounting or related fields with a focus on partnership or corporate tax expertise. * Customer service skills that foster positive client interactions; ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. * Technical accounting proficiency combined with bookkeeping experience to support comprehensive financial reporting. * Strong math skills along with 10 key typing proficiency for efficient data entry and document processing. * Sales aptitude for client acquisition combined with marketing abilities to promote services effectively.
