A senior strategy and M&A role within a high-growth, multi-$B global technology MNC that is focused on innovation, sustainability and will support our Product Quality & Innovation (PQI) Business Development team. This will suit an exceptional candidate who combines top-tier management consulting alongside PE/Corporate M&A due diligence and market assessment experience, ideally within Software, Cloud, SaaS, AI or industrial sectors.The OpportunityVeralto (www.veralto.com / NYSE: VLTO) is a global leader comprising a portfolio of 14 international technology and industrial automation companies across two segments, Product Quality & Innovation, and Water Quality. Veralto was formed two years ago and has Fortune 500 heritage, ambitious growth plans and significant capital to invest.This role reports to the VP of Strategy & Business Development for PQI and plays a critical role in driving the strategic direction and inorganic buildout of the PQI segment, which currently comprises Esko, X-Rite, Pantone, Videojet and Linx, all highly respected global leading technology companies.In this highly visible role, you’ll work alongside the leadership teams of each large operating company, the wider Veralto Strategy and Corporate Development organization, and Veralto’s Executive Leadership, helping to shape the strategic direction and overseeing attractive acquisitions that deliver our value-enhancing and disruptive vision, resulting in strong returns on capital and shareholder value.This is a remote, East Coast / Central US or Europe home-based position with 30% travel.In this role you will:Learn established processes for market work and deal execution from long-tenured colleagues at Veralto and be a steward of process improvement through VES (Veralto Enterprise System)Become the expert on adjacent and non-adjacent spaces through primary, proprietary market workServe as a project leader in conducting target company diligenceBuild an M&A funnel and drive decision-making across executive stakeholders by simplifying complex topics and communicating the business levers that define winning and losingOversee cultivation of near-, mid-, and long-term target relationshipsPartner with Veralto Corporate Development team to successfully execute dealsFacilitate business Strategic Planning Process and group-level strategy discussionsYour Attributes7+ years evaluating the market attractiveness and strategic fit of new businesses/markets/domains (experience comprising both top tier consulting and PE/in-house MNC environments). Software/SaaS/AI or industrial sector exposure is highly advantageousSignificant standalone M&A Due Diligence experience as an individual contributor (>5 deals min; >10 preferred)Exceptional interpersonal, relationship management and influencing skills. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $175,000 - $250,000 USD per year.
