Then consider joining our amazing team!JOB OVERVIEW:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property & Casualty Client Account Manager to join our Life Science & Technology insurance brokerage practice. This role will be responsible for delivering exceptional day-to-day service to a portfolio of middle market clients in the life sciences and technology sectors.The ideal candidate brings strong technical P&C expertise, a client-first mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This individual will partner closely with producers and internal service team members to ensure seamless account management, retention, and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Relationship ManagementServe as the primary service contact for assigned client accountsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsivenessCoordinate and deliver day-to-day service needs, including policy inquiries, endorsements, certificates, and coverage questionsAssist clients with risk management strategies tailored to life sciences and technology exposuresAccount Management & RenewalsLead the renewal process in collaboration with producers, including marketing, submission preparation, and carrier negotiationsReview policies for accuracy, coverage adequacy, and compliance with client needsPrepare renewal proposals and client presentationsIdentify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutionsCarrier & Market InteractionMaintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriting partnersNegotiate coverage terms, pricing, and program structures on behalf of clientsStay informed of market conditions, emerging risks, and carrier appetiteOperational ExecutionManage policy documentation, certificates, and endorsements with attention to accuracy and timelinessEnsure data integrity within agency management systemsSupport internal reporting, compliance, and workflow processesCollaborate with producers and other team members to drive efficiency and best practicesTeam CollaborationWork closely with producers (4) and account management team (5+) to support client retention and growthContribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture within a boutique environmentMentor junior staff as neededQualificationsExperience5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance brokerage or agency account managementExperience servicing middle market accounts, ideally within life sciences and/or technology sectorsStrong understanding of key coverages including:General LiabilityPropertyCyber LiabilityProfessional / E&OD&O / EPLI / FiduciaryUmbrella / ExcessLicenses & EducationActive Property & Casualty license requiredBachelor's degree preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong client service orientation and communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office toolsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid settingWhat We OfferOpportunity to work within a specialized, high-growth niche (life sciences & technology)Collaborative culture with direct access to leadershipCompetitive compensation and benefits packageProfessional development and growth opportunitiesPreferred Attributes (Nice-to-Have)Experience in a boutique or entrepreneurial brokerage environmentExposure to venture-backed or high-growth companiesFamiliarity with complex or emerging risks (e.g., clinical trials, IP risk, cyber exposure)COMPENSATION: The national average salary for this role is $75 000.00 - $90 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.
