Job Description

**About the Role** We are seeking a detail\-oriented Project Engineer to support active Medical Center construction contracts across the Northeast US. This role is heavily field\- and documentation\-focused — the right candidate is comfortable in Autodesk construction management platforms, obsessive about submittal tracking, sharp on reading and updating schedules, and a strong technical writer. **Core Responsibilities** **Autodesk Platform Management** * Serve as the day\-to\-day administrator of **Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Autodesk Build** for active projects * Manage RFIs, submittals, issues, and document control workflows within the platform * Maintain organized drawing sets, ASI logs, and revision tracking in ACC * Coordinate with subcontractors and the Owner to ensure all project communication runs through proper Autodesk workflows * Generate reports and exports from ACC to support project status updates and contract documentation **Submittal Management** * Own the **submittal log** from kickoff through final approval — tracking every submittal from preparation to Owner approval * Review submittals for spec compliance before forwarding to the Engineer of Record or Owner reviewer * Issue and track transmittals, coordinate resubmittals, and maintain full audit trail documentation * Coordinate with subcontractors on submittal preparation timelines to avoid procurement and construction delays * Flag long\-lead submittals early and escalate approval bottlenecks to the Project Manager **Schedule Tracking** * Maintain and update the project schedule (Primavera P6 or MS Project) on a weekly basis * Track planned vs. actual progress across all active work fronts and subcontractor scopes * Identify schedule slippage, float consumption, and critical path impacts; report findings to the PM * Support preparation of **Time Impact Analyses (TIAs)** and delay documentation for change order and REA packages * Coordinate with subcontractors to collect weekly look\-ahead schedules and verify field progress **Site Activity Reporting** * Conduct regular site visits to observe, document, and photograph active construction activities * Prepare and submit **Daily Construction Reports (DCRs)** capturing manpower, equipment, weather, work performed, and any incidents or anomalies * Document site conditions, differing site conditions (DSCs), and unforeseen field issues with photographs and written records * Maintain a site activity log supporting potential claims, change orders, or dispute resolution * Attend weekly OAC meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings; prepare and distribute meeting minutes **Qualifications** **Required:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related field * 1–4 years of construction project engineering experience * Hands\-on proficiency with **Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)** or **Autodesk Build** — submittals, RFIs, document management * Strong tec
