We expect a Director, Client Partner to be an expert in truly understanding the clients in their portfolio’s business, challenges, goals, and SWOT, and have established relationships with the most senior levels on the client side in order to push their team outside of the box on driving innovation/strategy. You'll represent DEPT® to our clients, adding value to relationships beyond organizational skills doing a mixture of account management and strategic planning.This is a remote, US-based role. However, candidates must work East Coast business hours due to collaboration with our UK team.WHAT YOU’LL DO:CLIENT MANAGEMENTWork in partnership with senior clients to develop annual strategiesHold recurring meetings with senior leadership on the client side focused on pushing their business forward, macro goals, industry trends/updates, and new opportunities to drive growth.Ensure client satisfaction by regularly communicating with senior decision-makers Be responsible for high client retention and growthBe a point of escalation on their accounts and effectively solve issues that arise, whether internally or with clientsLead new business pitches and proposals alongside leadership and growth teamBUSINESS KNOWLEDGE AND COMPLIANCEForecast, reconcile and monitor client revenue and profitabilityEstimate, manage, monitor and reconcile client out-of-pocket fundsPossess a strong understanding of scope management inclusive of how to track and manage, escalate scope pacing issuesManage client portfolio revenue, including updating relevant internal financial systems accurately and in a timely mannerProductize our services within a proposal and SOWAuthor written SOWs, amendments, and other legal adjustments in partnership with contracts team as needed Lead contract negotiations and oversee the implementation of commercial agreementsProactively pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities to drive innovation, strategy, and organic revenue growthEnsure teams are operating effectively and efficiently towards clients goals while meeting financial revenue targets on accountsTEAM PARTICIPATION, DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGIC LEADERSHIPSuccessfully work with all craft teams to effectively drive strategies and work that leads clients to the next level of their businessLead, line-manage, motivate and inspire a teamCraft strategic responses to briefs and the ability to develop a POV on media, creative content, tech, and dataDraw conclusions and actionable insights from analysisEnsure delivery of work is to the highest possible standardContribute to the creative process by sharing their ideas and experienceBe accountable for high employee retention and managing direct reports’ growthWHAT YOU BRING:7+ years experience in roles servicing clients in an agency environmentExperience managing large client, social AORs and agency teamsExperience managing complex campaigns and retainers (experience in organic and paid social preferred)Experience with campaign content production and budget managementExperience in leading a high-volume, multi service retainer(s) for brands/clientsConfident with both brand and conversion/direct-response campaignsStrong delegation skills with the ability to coordinate activities between multiple projects without directly managing themStrong client relationship management skills, including experience working directly with directors, VPs and C-level clients on strategy developmentAdvanced problem-solving skillsWHAT DO WE OFFER?We are a collaborative, open-door, best-idea-wins environment that fosters personal and company growth and has fun doing it.
