This is a hands-on, execution-first role. You'll keep our internal HR engine running smoothly as we grow, personally doing the work while leading a small, capable team across HR operations and talent acquisition.This is an operator's role, not a strategist's. If you're energised by owning the details, being the go-to person, and running a tight, reliable operation, you'll thrive here.Please note: This role covers RemotePass's own internal team only, not the EOR or contractor employees we manage on behalf of our clients.ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day HR operations for RemotePass's internal, globally distributed team, keeping everything running reliablyMaintain the operational backbone of the HR function: processes, policies, documentation, and systems. Most of this exists. Your job is to keep it current, fix what's broken, and simplify where it makes senseBe the go-to point of contact for the team on any HR query or issue, resolving matters promptly and with careRun performance review cycles end-to-end, from set-up and coordination through to follow-throughLead and support the TA function, staying hands-on with hiring where needed and keeping the recruitment pipeline movingLead, coach, and develop the team as RemotePass expands, balancing your own delivery with managing othersMaintain compliance with internal HR policies and local employment requirements across the countries where our team worksTrack and report on the metrics that matter: time to hire, onboarding completion, ticket resolution, and compliance statusCollaborate cross-functionally with leadership, Finance, and Payroll to ensure a seamless experience for the internal teamRequirementsRequirements5 to 10 years in HR or People Operations with a strong track record of hands-on, day-to-day deliveryProven experience running HR operations for a distributed or remote, multi-country teamExperience managing both HR operations and talent acquisition simultaneouslyExperience leading and developing a small teamBackground at a startup, scaleup, tech company, or EOR or HR tech company is a strong advantageHands-on experience with onboarding, offboarding, performance review cycles, and relevant HR and recruitment tools including an ATSExcellent organisational and process skills with genuine attention to detail and follow-throughComfortable being the operational go-to person in a fast-changing, remote-first environmentFluent in EnglishWhy Join RemotePass?Be part of a fast-growing global company transforming remote workOwn and shape the HR operations of a remote-first, globally distributed team during a period of rapid growthWork in a collaborative, inclusive environment with a strong culture of ownershipOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive compensation and benefits packageOriginally posted on Himalayas
