About the RoleA1 is building a proactive AI system that carries work forward across conversations, tools, and time.As a Media Relations Executive, you will be responsible for executing A1’s media outreach efforts in China. This role focuses on identifying media opportunities, building relationships, securing coverage, and ensuring consistent external messaging across public channels.You will work independently and be accountable for measurable media outcomes.What You'll DoIdentify and build relationships with relevant media outlets, social channels, podcasts, tech press, and mainstream media in ChinaProactively pitch story angles and secure interviews, features, and media placementsDraft and edit press materials including media pitches, briefing notes, and background documentsCoordinate media engagements end-to-end, including scheduling, preparation materials, and follow-upsMaintain clear and consistent messaging across external communicationsTrack media coverage and maintain structured records of outreach and placementsMonitor media trends and identify relevant exposure opportunitiesWhat You'll Need3–6 years of experience in media relations, PR, communications, or related fieldsProven experience securing media placements in ChinaStrong understanding of China’s digital and traditional media landscapeStrong writing skills in Chinese; working proficiency in EnglishAbility to understand and communicate technical topics clearlyOrganized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-throughComfortable working independently with minimal supervisionHow We WorkThe best products today in the world were built by small, world class teams.
