Job Description SummaryThis role provides financial leadership for the North America Order to Remittance (OTR) process, partnering closely with commercial, operations, project execution, supply chain, billing, and collections teams to support accurate order management, timely revenue recognition, effective cash conversion, and strong financial performance. The position is responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, analysis, and month-end/quarter-end close activities, with accountability for order intake, backlog, billing, cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet performance. It also plays a key role in improving financial controls across the OTR process, supporting working capital optimization, and driving execution discipline across the region. In addition, the role includes developing finance talent, ensuring reporting accuracy, supporting statutory and audit requirements, and contributing to planning and analysis activities that help guide business decisions. This role reports to the North America (“NAM”) CFO for Grid Automation. Electrification is a profitable business with approximately $10B revenue, and the fastest-growing segment within GE Vernova. Grid Automation is a $1B+ revenue business line of the Electrification segment, and its North America region is approximately $0.3B revenue today. Grid Automation provides advanced hardware, software, and services to modernize, digitalize, and protect the global power grid. North America is the most exciting and fastest-growing region within Grid Automation, with a clear path to greater than $0.5B annual revenue in the next 3-5 years.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesLead financial ownership of the North America OTR process across a $0.3B revenue portfolio in partnership with commercial, project execution, supply chain, billing, and collections teams to ensure strong order-to-cash performance.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure booking accuracy of $0.4B in orders and integrity of $0.2B in backlog, while supporting timely invoicing and effective cash collection.Execute weekly cost postings & revenue recognition activities in SAP to maintain accurate pacing and financial reporting.Provide FP&A support for monthly pacing, annual budgeting, and long-term strategic planning for a region with orders and sales expected to grow at a 17% CAGR through 2030.Analyze and drive actions to improve working capital, cash conversion, and OTR process effectiveness.Partner with operations and commercial teams to identify productivity, simplification, and cost-out opportunities to improve CM +5%, specifically in projects and services, by end of 2027.Lead month-end close and quarter-end activities, coordinate variance analysis, and support required reporting for profit and loss and balance sheet across 2 company codes.Support GAAP, statutory, and management reporting requirements as needed.Partner with Project Control Analysts to support 500+ projects ranging in size from $1k to $40M to accurately forecast revenue recognition, billing and inventory levelsParticipate in 2-3 Project Margin Reviews quarterly and drive margin optimization.Support financial controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements across the OTR cycle.Coach and develop financial analysts to effectively engage, partner with, and influence cross-functional teams.Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in financial management, finance operations, or Planning & Analysis3+ years of people leadership experienceProven experience supporting order-to-cash, OTR, commercial finance, or project finance environmentsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field requiredExperience with SmartView and Tableau reporting toolsExperience with SAP ERPDesired CharacteristicsStrong analytical ability combined with communication skills to articulate business drivers, risks, and actionsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh proficiency in data querying tools, Microsoft Excel, and related Office applicationsExperience partnering across commercial, operations, billing, and collections functionsWorking knowledge of working capital, cash flow, backlog, and revenue processesFor candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $137,900 and $187,900 CAD.
