Core Functional Skills (Required)Data Entry & System AccuracyAbility to accurately transfer data from Plan Administration Manual (Word documents) into system fields (BOSS)Strong attention to detail with high data accuracy and consistencyComfortable working with structured fields and system-driven inputsThe project requires completing setup fields and updating plan data as part of the BOSS configuration process.Document Interpretation & TranslationAbility to interpret Plan Administration Manual and translate it into system fieldsUnderstand how to apply logic when information is unclear or incompleteComfortable making reasonable assumptions with guidance and documenting themThe project leverages a Checklist and requires converting document content into system configurations.Excel ProficiencyBasic Excel skills, including:Copy & PasteInsert RowsAdd Filter & Freeze PanesRemove duplicatesAbility to compile and maintain lists (e.g., event codes, distribution codes)Data Validation & Quality Control (QC)Ability to audit entered data against source documentsPerform reasonability checks to ensure data makes sense operationallyIdentify and flag:Missing fieldsInconsistent dataPotential setup issuesQC includes reviewing entries for accuracy and ensuring sections are complete and administratively reasonable.2. Technical & System SkillsAbility to learn and navigate BOSS system functionalityFamiliarity with:Data extract reportsSystem-based configuration fieldsBasic understanding of:Codes (event codes, distribution settings, etc.)Structured system inputs vs. freeform textThe role interacts with BOSS distribution settings, extract reports, and system configuration data3. Analytical & Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to:Translate ambiguous Plan Administration Manual into structured inputsIdentify when something “does not make sense” operationallyEscalate issues or questions appropriatelyLogical thinker with strong pattern recognition4.
