We are proud to be the development partner of choice for industry leaders such as:EpicXboxMetaObsidian EntertainmentRiotGearbox SoftwareThe Live Ops Manager bridges the space between technology and player experience. They are the person who ensures server reliability during a world-scale in-game event, who coordinates the cross-functional response when something breaks, who governs the cadence of in-game content rollouts, and who reads player data to understand whether the live experience is working or quietly eroding. This is not a community manager who also handles incidents. It is not an SRE lead who occasionally talks to designers. It is the operational centre of gravity for live service delivery — leading engineers, producers, data analysts, and QA through the full cycle of a living, breathing game.Key Responsibilities:Coordinates SRE, engineering, and production during live outages and degraded service events. Runs post-mortems. Drives structural improvements so the same incident does not recur.Plans, coordinates, and launches in-game events end-to-end. Owns the event readiness checklist — content, infrastructure scaling, QA sign-off, comms. Is accountable if an event ships broken or at the wrong time.Governs the curation, scheduling, and rollout of live in-game content — item shops, seasonal offers, rotating content. Owns the content calendar and coordinates across product, design, and monetisation.Reads live telemetry to understand player behaviour, retention signals, economy health, and event performance. Surfaces insights that inform content decisions and monetisation tuning. Works alongside data analysts — does not replace them.Holds the connective tissue across SRE, QA, community management, and product. Ensures new features integrate into the live environment without surprises. Runs the operational readiness gate before major launches.Maintains runbooks, incident playbooks, content rollout SOPs, and post-mortem documentation. The live operations function does not depend on any one person's institutional memory.Requirements5+ years of experience in live operations, site reliability, or technical game production — with at least 2 years in a role where they were responsible for live service uptime on a multiplayer titleProven incident command experience: has run a live incident bridge, not just participated in one. Has written and acted on post-mortems.Experience coordinating cross-functional teams: SRE/engineering, QA, community, and product in the same operational contextHands-on with live monitoring tools: Datadog, PagerDuty, Grafana, Splunk, or equivalent. Can read a dashboard and ask the right question.Content operations experience on a live game: has owned or co-owned a content calendar, item shop curation, or in-game event rollout for a major multiplayer titleData literacy: comfortable reading player telemetry, retention metrics, and economy KPIs — and translating them into operational decisions. Not a data scientist, but not data-avoidant.Strong async communication: produces clear, concise written updates for both technical (SRE) and non-technical (community, product) audiencesRemote-first discipline: has led live ops in a distributed environment across timezonesPreferredExperience at a major F2P or live-service title with 1M+ concurrent players during a major eventFamiliarity with Unreal Engine infrastructure and game build pipelines — does not need to be an engineer, but understands the moving partsKnowledge of in-game economy health indicators: currency inflation, sink/source imbalance, retention drop patternsPrevious experience coordinating an item shop or seasonal content schedule with real commercial impactBenefitsWe offer:Strong and enthusiastic team – you will have the opportunity for knowledge sharing, learning, and professional self-developmentInteresting and challenging tasks – solve diverse and challenging issues, communicate with people within the company as well as with our partners;Convenient working conditions – remote work, the opportunity to build your own working day with flexible working hoursА chance to work in a highly professional and dynamic team working with a wide range of International Game Production projects, attractive remuneration package, and opportunities to develop professionally. This is a remote, full-time contracted position. We a
