Posting Date04/06/20262000 16th St, Denver, Colorado, 80202-5117, United States of AmericaThe Supervisor of ROPS Setup Team supports the manager by providing leadership and direction to assigned specialists on the ROPS Setup Team. As a frontline leader, the Supervisor drives results by bridging the gap between high-level ROPS strategies and daily operational execution. They are responsible for ensuring that the underlying systems and data—the "infrastructure" of our revenue cycle—are set up correctly to minimize downstream billing exceptions and maximize payer reimbursement. By coaching a team of specialists and partnering across lanes, they ensure the Village has a solid foundation for all claim-related activities.*This role will be fully remote anywhere in U.S."Key Responsibilities & Management Ladder CompetenciesTeam Leadership (Talent Management): Directly lead and develop a team of front-line teammates (typically 5-10). Provide specific, timely, and productive coaching and feedback as well as performance evaluations focusing on skills and behaviors.Operational Oversight (Taking Ownership): Manage daily workflows for functional areas (which can include any of the following: Claim Content, Contract loading, Plan evaluation, and other various Setup Team functions). Take accountability for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of team output.Performance Management (Talent Management): Hold the team accountable for productivity metrics; identify barriers to growth and address underperformance with a solution-driven approach.Process Improvement (Innovation & Systems Thinking): Identify efficiencies in Setup LOB and test process changes. Apply business knowledge across the lane to evaluate opportunities and manage risks.Collaboration (Influence & Relationship Management): Partner with other ROPS and Finance Teams. Actively engage and interact with peers to align on change messaging.Strategic Thinking (Decision Making): Translate tactical goals into actions. • Ensure accurate and timely completion of Setup functionsTeammate Management & Development 30%• Full supervisory responsibility for recruitment, hiring, and retention of direct reports.
• Conduct performance development, coaching, and management for teammates.
• Manage teammate workloads to facilitate growth and ensure departmental goals are metMetric Analysis & Reporting 15%Review daily, weekly, and monthly key metrics to identify trends or areas of focus.
• Identify variances and report findings to the Director/Regional Revenue Manager.
• Monitor payment trends and escalate concerns regarding payor behavior.Continuous Improvement & Projects 5%• Identify system and process improvements to reduce registration denials and exceptions.
• Participate in and lead projects related to varied system or process implementation initiativesOther Duties as Assigned 5%• Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed.
