Job Description
OverviewAs a Financial Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial landscape by spearheading the analysis, reporting, and forecasting the expenses of LoanCare’s operating and support functions. This dynamic position calls for an analytical thinker with a proactive approach, collaborating closely with business units to drive financial awareness, identify savings opportunities, and optimize overall profitability.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse headcount related expenses with special attention to volume, rate and mix drivers.Take the lead in analysing, reporting, and addressing departmental variances to budget/forecast.Analyse key vendor spend and identify opportunities for savings.Lead reporting, analysis, and forecasting of for selected expenses for the organization.Monitor and report Capital expenditure for the organization assisting with ROI analysis as needed.Produce monthly performance reports for operational teams, communicating results to Senior Leadership.Act as a vital member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required.3+ years in FP&A or Corporate Finance with proven experience in modeling, forecasting, and executive communication.Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Experience in capital budgeting and project finance.Desired Skills and QualificationsMaster’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certifications are highly desired.Desired Skills and QualificationsMaster’s degree in related field.Previous experience in an FP&A role within the mortgage subservicing or servicing industries.Experience or transferable skills leveraging digital tools such as Power BI, SQL with demonstrated ability to succinctly analyze large amounts of data.Total RewardsLoanCare’s Total Rewards Package offers a comprehensive blend of health and welfare, financial, lifestyle and learning benefits to support employee well-being and engagement.
