We're looking for the sharpest minds to help us secure the frontier.The invitation is open: Come join us at the tea party.About the PositionAs one of Alice's CBRN experts, you'll focus on ensuring the safety and integrity of Generative AI (GenAI) systems by leveraging your specialized knowledge in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear domains. You will create domain-specific prompts and evaluate AI-generated responses to help identify vulnerabilities and ensure content accuracy, reliability, and ethical integrity.We are seeking experts in one or more of the following specializations:Biology – Molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, and related fieldsChemistry – Organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistryVirology – Epidemiology, immunology, and infectious diseasesNuclear Energy – Nuclear power generation, safety, and regulationsRadioactive Materials – Radioactive energy applications, safety, and complianceKey ResponsibilitiesWrite domain-specific CBRN prompts, including adversarial prompts designed to test model vulnerabilities and resistance to generating dangerous outputsEvaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, scientific validity, and regulatory complianceIdentify and flag content that is incorrect, harmful, misleading, or ethically concerningProvide constructive feedback to improve prompt design and content generationStay updated with current research, regulations, and best practices within your area of expertiseRequirementsRequirementsAdvanced degree in a relevant CBRN field (Ph.D. preferred; Master's degree with significant experience will be considered)Deep expertise in at least one of the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Virology, Nuclear Energy, or Radioactive MaterialsExcellent analytical skills with keen attention to detailStrong written communication skills to articulate findings and recommendations clearlyAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environmentPreferred QualificationsExpertise in multiple CBRN domainsExperience with AI or machine learning projectsPrevious experience in content moderation, academic review, red-teaming, or consulting rolesFamiliarity with ethical considerations and challenges in AI-generated contentKnowledge of AI prompt engineering concepts and practices, including adversarial prompt writingAll applicants will be required to complete a screening exam and background check.
