Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the full cycle of accounting duties, from accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and payroll processing. This company was recently acquired by a small family investment group (two brothers) and we are looking for a professional to bring energy and sophistication to the accoutning department. \#\# Responsibilities \- Manage all aspects of the general ledger \- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy \- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes \- Perform account analysis and maintain financial records \- Assist ownership and CPA with taxes \- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities \- Conduct general ledger reconciliation \- Utilize double\-entry bookkeeping methods \- Collaborate with the team on various accounting projects \#\# Requirements \- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role \- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles \- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus \- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel \- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills \- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently \- Solid understanding of budgeting processes \- Previous experience in account analysis and reconciliation is preferred Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time Pay: $58,000\.00 \- $80,000\.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Parental leave * Vision insurance * Work from home Application Question(s): * Do you live within 35 minutes of Charlotte, Mooresville or Statesville? * How often do you work in Quickbooks Online?
