Junior Product Designer

We’re on the lookout for a Product Designer to join our outstanding Product Design team. Your main focus will be designing useful apps for both web and mobile in Figma.We are working with well-established companies and sometimes startups in their early stages (MVPs), which makes the job full of diversity and exciting challenges while crafting cutting-edge solutions. Our clients and referrals are from the high-end American IT market.You will have your own mentor (a supporting Product Designer) who can help you onboard better in our company and help upskill your design abilities.Enjoy the flexibility of working within the Polish time zone while collaborating with clients from diverse industries such as Fintech, Sportstech, Medtech, and many others.Your future tasks and duties:Being responsible for creating useful and eye-pleasing designs including landing pages, web/desktop applicationsCreating interactive prototypes to demonstrate your designPreparing user flow and low-fidelity wireframes based on the requirements of the clientWorking with existing Design Systems with a buddy’s helpAttending meetings with the client where we set all of the requirementsParticipating in in-house meetings where the Product Designer, Developers and Proxy Product Owners create requirements for the applicationPresenting your ideas to the team and client, incorporating feedback from your Mentor/Buddy/Leader and Proxy Product OwnerPreparing marketing assets for projects (Dribbble shots, Facebook Ads) as well as for internal company purposesAbout you - Tech skills & Experience:Great portfolio with at least one UI desktop project (private or commercial)1 year of commercial experience in a similar positionUnderstanding of UX rulesKnowledge of design programs (we work in Figma, but PS, AI are always helpful)Able to create basic style guide with UI elements (with a buddy/mentor/leader’s help)Understanding a target user, evaluating current products from a UX perspective, participating in design workshopsWilling to do research before or after meeting when necessaryAble to design landing pages and parts of the application based on the recveived specificationsAble to work with already existing design assets (especially: style guide, UI kit)Capable of preparing Responsive Web DesignsAI curiosity and practical knowledge of its use in design projectsAbout you - Soft Skills:Excellent command of Polish (C1) and English (C1) is requiredKnowledge hungry - with eagerness to learn and take on challengesFamiliarity with Scrum and Agile methodologiesProblem solving way of thinkingSolid communication skills and not being afraid to challenge the status quoOpen-minded to new ideas and perspectivesBeing aware of your strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvementsActively seeking solutions and trying to figure things out on your own, but not being afraid to ask for help when neededWilling to learn from experienced designers how to cooperate with U.S. Founders and CEOsNice to have:Experience in preparing marketing assets (Dribbble shots, Facebook Posts)Illustrating skillsBranding skillsExperience in Webflow/FramerAfter Effects/Jitter, FramerMake (or alternative), ChatGPT/Claude (or alternative)Meaningful projects, top-notch experts and value-driven workplaceSound good?Apply now!Originally posted on Himalayas
