The MAST directorate is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary group of over 60 engineers who collaborate with internal and external customers to create cutting-edge solutions in data science and emerging technology applications. Our innovative team is dedicated to pushing boundaries to develop next-generation mission solutions, ranging from system-level designs to campaign-level strategies.We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer II to primarily focus on developing a Python-based web application for the simulation, modeling, and analysis of factory production models. Additional project opportunities may include contributions to mission management systems, command and control systems, AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) applications, or Live Virtual Constructive simulation environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing and implementing software solutions that empower data-driven decision-making, such as trade-off analyses, and thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment that spans multiple time zones.This role requires strong time management skills to meet deadlines and the ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.Location: This is a remote position.
