Online AP Subject Tutors / Instructors (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics)

Overview We are seeking experienced and results\-oriented educators to provide targeted, high\-level instruction for Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and exam preparation. We are actively hiring subject specialists for: * **AP Biology** * **AP Physics** (Physics 1, 2, and/or Physics C: Mechanics \& E\&M) * **AP Chemistry** * **AP Economics** (AP Microeconomics \& AP Macroeconomics) This is a fully remote position. Tutors will work primarily with international/bilingual high school students preparing for the official College Board AP exams. Key Responsibilities * Deliver rigorous, curriculum\-aligned instruction targeting the College Board AP syllabus. * Break down complex conceptual topics and guide students through Free Response Questions (FRQs) and Multiple\-Choice Questions (MCQs). * Teach targeted test\-taking strategies, analytical frameworks, and exam pacing. * Identify students' knowledge gaps through diagnostic assessments and customize lesson plans accordingly. * Track academic progress and communicate actionable feedback to support score improvement. Qualifications * **Subject Mastery**: Deep knowledge of the College Board AP curriculum and test format for the applied subject(s). * **Teaching Experience**: 1\+ years of proven experience teaching or tutoring AP coursework, with a track record of helping students achieve top scores (4s and 5s). * **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related STEM/Social Science field). * **Technical Skills**: Comfortable using online teaching platforms (Zoom, ClassIn, digital whiteboards, or drawing tablets). * **Work Authorization**: Legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible to receive a Form W\-2\. * **Availability**: Flexibility during early morning hours U.S. time (corresponding to China Standard Time evenings) or weekends. Compensation \& Hours * **Rate**: $35–$50 / hour (commensurate with subject expertise and teaching record; W\-2\). * **Hours**: Flexible, part\-time schedule based on student demand and tutor availability.
