SAP PP Consultant / Remote

This is a remote position.We are looking for an accomplished SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience across SAP PP implementations, production processes, and system support. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, deep functional expertise, and the ability to navigate complex manufacturing environments. This role requires partnering with global stakeholders; therefore, fluency in English is essential, German nice to have.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end SAP PP initiatives, including implementations, enhancements, rollouts, and ongoing support.Translate business requirements into scalable and robust SAP PP solutions.Configure and optimize core SAP PP functionalities such as:-Material Requirements Planning (MRP)-Production Orders & Execution-Work Centers, Routings & Capacity Planning-Demand Management & Planning StrategiesEnsure smooth integration with related modules: MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, PM.Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to enhance end-to-end production planning.Diagnose and resolve PP-related issues efficiently, ensuring system stability and data accuracy.Conduct user training, prepare high-quality documentation, and support knowledge transfer activities.Contribute to process harmonization, best practices adoption, and continuous improvement across regions. Requirements10+ years of hands-on SAP PP implementation and support experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop floor execution, and production planning flows.Proven expertise in SAP PP configuration, testing, solution design, and cross-functional impact analysis.Solid knowledge of PP-related master data, including BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Strong communication skills and experience working with international, cross-functional teams.Fluency in English both written and spoken.Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP is a significant advantage.Preferred Attributes:Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing landscapes.Familiarity with SAP best practices and industry-standard production planning models.Proactive mindset, ability to work independently, and strong ownership of assigned areas.German knowledge.
