As a Contract Product Designer for the Provider Experience, you'll own the clinical interfaces that our providers and operations team use every day, from scheduling to intake and charting to care coordination, directly shaping how modern telehealth care is practiced. This is a full-time, six-month engagement embedded within our product and engineering team. We're looking for a designer who moves fast without sacrificing craft, thrives in ambiguity, and is genuinely curious about how care gets delivered.Location: Hybrid (NYC). We value in-person collaboration and aim for at least three days per week in our NYC office, with flexibility as needed.Your ImpactDesign end-to-end provider workflows across core clinical surfaces, including scheduling, management, permissioning, patient chart, clinical co-pilot, and more.Conduct discovery with provider and the clinical operations teams to deeply understand how care is delivered today and where friction livesTranslate complex clinical workflows into clean, intuitive interfaces that reduce cognitive load for providersPartner closely with engineering to ensure designs are built with high fidelity and speedIdentify and prioritize the highest-leverage UX improvements to provider efficiency and satisfactionRequired Qualifications5+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow and B2B or enterprise UXProven ability to lead design end-to-end — from discovery and research through to high-fidelity deliveryExperience designing for dense, data-rich interfaces where clarity and efficiency are criticalComfortable working in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and evolving requirementsStrong collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience designing clinical or healthcare tools, EMR/EHR interfaces, or other regulated industry softwareFamiliarity with telehealth or virtual-first care modelsPrior experience working in a startup or high-growth environmentWhat Allara OffersCompensation$120-$150 per hourWork Environment & Flexibility 3-day hybrid in NYCAdditional PerksA collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on improving patient careAt Allara, we believe in celebrating everything that makes us human and are proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace.
