Job Description

**About TrueBearing** TrueBearing LLC ("TrueBearing"), based in Seattle, helps licensed clinicians add neurotherapy to their practice. Through TrueBearing Academy (truebearingacademy.com) it offers professional training — our flagship course TrueBearing 101, a suite of advanced courses, Grand Rounds case consultations, individual and group mentoring — and, as TrueBearing Consulting, clinic development services, all grounded in the evidence\-based TrueBearing Method©. The organization was established by clinicians for clinicians and is led by its founder and CEO, Dr. Nathan Brown, a licensed psychologist and neurotherapist. **Position Summary** The Director of Operations is responsible for the day\-to\-day operations of TrueBearing Academy and TrueBearing Consulting and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The role manages both operations and marketing execution, leading through contractors and AI systems rather than doing the work directly. TrueBearing operates as an AI\-forward organization: a growing share of routine operational work — campaign scheduling, metrics assembly, document filing, compliance\-date tracking, and preparation of financial data — is carried out by AI systems under human direction. The Director of Operations is the accountable owner of that arrangement. The role directs these systems, verifies their output, corrects their errors, and performs the operational work that requires human judgment. The position proceeds in phases. The build phase continues a project already underway. This phase will comprise roughly the first quarter, and establishes marketing execution and the operating systems described below. It is followed by an implementation phase in which those systems are exercised on live work, and by ongoing maintenance and improvement as the organization grows. The role is intended as a continuing position; the emphasis shifts over time from building the operation to running it. **Key Responsibilities** Listed in order of first\-quarter priority. For each area, the AI layer performs the routine work and the Director of Operations directs, verifies, and acts. * **Operations and project management.** Set weekly priorities, track open work in the shared task system (Asana), and follow up until each item is closed. Keep projects moving across staff and contractors, and give the CEO a short weekly account of what is done, what is stuck, and what needs his decision. Keep the CEO's own task and reporting systems, which he operates, integrated with the organization's shared systems so work passes cleanly between them. * **Marketing leadership.** Direct the execution of campaigns developed by the CEO and the AI\-systems consultant across Kajabi email, Buffer, Substack, and the organization's social platforms; the virtual assistant and the AI layer produce and schedule the work, and the Director sets priorities, holds quality, reviews results weekly, and recommends adjustments to the CEO.
